11. Abrasive mop wheels Made of aluminum oxide and silicon carbide, they are available in wide range of sizes and grits. They are a kind of practical tools for any surface finishing, suitable for portable machines and stationary grinders for mass production. Available in assorted specifications according to customer's requirements. It consists of aluminium oxide leaves arranged around a central core. There are alternatives from grit 40 to 600. It is suitable to polish with fine grit abrasive mop wheels before nickel and chrome covering. It is used especially for polishing the exterior surfaces of the stainless steels and aluminum containers, for polishing cylindrical conic and profiled surfaces and for polishing hard metals. In order to use more effectively the abrasive mop wheels: Don't adjust the pressure force at too high level. When necessary, choose thicker grit. Use snug flange. Select speed RPM on its label.
